Volkovgeology JSC holds licences for activities in the field of atomic energy use, operates drilling rigs and technologies under permits from the industrial safety authorities, its branch laboratories confirm their competence through accreditation and assessment of measurement conditions, and the integrated management system is certified against international and national standards.

State licensing

Licences

Three licences were issued by the Committee for Atomic and Energy Supervision and Control of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the transport licence by the Committee for Atomic Supervision and Control of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Atomic Energy; in 2026 the same committee issued annexes extending the licences to the production base of the COME branch. All licences are class 1, each valid for five years.
