About the company
Over its 78-year history, Volkovgeology JSC has discovered more than 40 uranium deposits and helped establish Kazakhstan's world-leading uranium resource base, with reserves exceeding 1.3 million tonnes. Its core comprises 19 large sandstone-type deposits in southern Kazakhstan that are amenable to in-situ recovery (ISR).

Structure and geography
The structure of Volkovgeology JSC includes the Central Administration and six branches: Ontustik VG (GRE-7), Geological Exploration Expeditions (GRE) No. 5 and No. 23, the Central Experimental and Methodological Expedition (COME), the Production and Technical Support and Supply Directorate (UPTOK), and the Geotechnocenter (GTC).

Kazatomprom allocates over KZT 2.1 billion for social projects in the Kyzylorda Region
Kazatomprom and the Akimat of the Kyzylorda Region signed a memorandum of cooperation: over KZT 2.1 billion is allocated to build a community centre, a health centre and a sports complex in 2026–2027.
