Kazatomprom participated in the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada conference held in Toronto on 2–5 March 2025. The Company was represented in Kazakhstan's national pavilion and at the forum Meet Kazakhstan: The Power of Geology in the Ninth Largest Nation.
The forum addressed prospects for rare and rare-earth metals, strategic partnerships and Kazakhstan's investment potential. Kazatomprom Management Board Chairman Meirzhan Yussupov joined a round-table discussion on financing opportunities for Kazakhstan's mining industry.
The session Kazakhstan's Path to Leadership in the Global Uranium Market brought together Kazatomprom, Cameco and Orano Mining representatives to discuss the outlook for nuclear power and the role of industry leaders. Participants highlighted the contribution of Canadian and French partners to Kazakhstan's mining sector.
Kazatomprom stated that, while the Company does not need capital to develop its uranium business, it remains open to dialogue on rare and rare-earth metals.
