National Atomic Company Kazatomprom JSC (Kazatomprom or the Company) announces that Fitch Ratings (Fitch) has affirmed Kazatomprom's credit rating at BBB, outlook Stable.

Under Fitch's Government-Related Entities (GRE) Rating Criteria, Fitch rates Kazatomprom on a standalone basis due to limited ties with its ultimate major shareholder, the Republic of Kazakhstan (BBB/Stable), which owns 75% of the Company's shares.

The rating reflects Kazatomprom's position as a global leader in uranium production and its strong financial profile due to a conservative financial policy and competitive cost position globally. It also highlights the Company's scale, its contracted production volumes and long-term relationships with utilities.

Fitch's press release on Kazatomprom's rating affirmation dated 25 August 2026 is available on the Fitch Ratings website.
