NAC Kazatomprom JSC held a round table in Astana on involving domestic producers in the company's procurement. The national atomic company brought together representatives of government bodies, the Atameken National Chamber of Entrepreneurs, the Union of Machine Builders of Kazakhstan, Samruk-Kazyna Contract LLP and Kazakh businesses.
Participants discussed promising areas for import substitution, opportunities to expand the participation of Kazakh producers in procurement, and the support mechanisms available to them.
Kazatomprom continues its systematic work to develop the domestic supplier base and increase the share of Kazakh-made products in its procurement. Priorities include mastering new product types and expanding production capabilities.
