As part of the Head of State's instruction to implement a large-scale programme for the construction of social and infrastructure facilities, NAC Kazatomprom JSC and the Akimat of the Kyzylorda Region signed a memorandum of cooperation to implement social projects in the region in 2026–2027.
Under the memorandum, Kazatomprom and its subsidiaries and affiliates allocated over KZT 2.1 billion to finance three socially significant projects:
- construction of a 740 m² community centre with a 150-person capacity in the village of Akzhol, Zhanakorgan district; the adjacent landscaping area will cover over 3,800 m²;
- construction of a 780 m² health centre in the village of Zhanakorgan, Zhanakorgan district; the adjacent landscaping area will cover over 4,700 m²;
- construction of a 972 m² sports complex in the village of Baiterek, Shiyeli district, which will be able to accommodate up to 150 children at a time.
The projects seek to enhance the local quality of life, expand access to medical care, and foster cultural and physical development among young people.
Cooperation with the Kyzylorda Region Akimat is part of Kazatomprom's systematic efforts to promote the socioeconomic development of the regions where it operates and enhance local well-being.
